3. Your Haven profile
Your profile helps people know who they're choosing to talk to.
Haven is built around choice.
Before starting a conversation, users may see information about the person they're considering talking to.
Depending on your role and the features you use, your Haven profile may include information such as your display name, photo, languages, interests, conversation style, availability and other information you choose to provide.
Important
You remain responsible for the information you choose to add to your public profile.
Please don't add personal information that you don't want other Haven users to see.
4. What other people can see
Haven allows people to learn a little about each other before deciding whether they want to start a conversation.
The information visible to another Haven user depends on your role, your profile and the features available on the Platform.
During discovery
Information you choose to make part of your Haven profile may be shown to people considering a conversation with you.
During a conversation
The person you're talking to may see information you've chosen to share through your profile or directly during the conversation.
Your choice
Starting a conversation does not require you to share every detail about yourself.
You decide what you're comfortable sharing.
5. Voice conversations & your privacy
Conversations are personal. We treat them that way.
Haven takes the privacy and security of your voice conversations seriously.
Call recording
Voice conversations on Haven may be recorded and processed for analytics, quality improvement, service enhancement, safety and security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and investigation of misuse or violations of our policies.
Recorded conversations may be processed by Haven and trusted service providers acting on our behalf. Access to recordings is restricted to authorized personnel and systems and is limited to legitimate service, safety, security, support, and operational purposes.
We do not permit other Users to access your recordings. We may review relevant recordings where necessary to investigate reports, safety concerns, fraud, abuse, disputes, or violations of our policies.

6. How Haven helps you discover people
Recommendations help you discover. You still choose.
Haven may use information such as your stated interests, preferences, activity, ratings and availability to help organise and present relevant people or conversations.
These systems are designed to help you discover people on Haven. They don't decide who you have to talk to.
You choose whether to view a profile, start a conversation or move on.
Automated systems
Haven may use automated systems to support discovery, platform operations and safety.
Where an automated system may have a significant effect on your account, appropriate human review may be involved, where applicable.
7. Keeping Haven safe
A place for real conversations also needs clear boundaries.
Haven is designed for conversations between people. Keeping those conversations respectful and the platform safe is part of operating Haven.
We may use information to:
- Detect and prevent fraud
- Investigate abuse or harassment
- Respond to reports
- Investigate safety concerns
- Enforce Haven's policies
